Sensors include manometry, strain sensing, electromyography, and electrochemical measurement of neurotransmitters.", "abstract": "This dataset contains experimental data from five animals. Several sensors were evaluated to determine colon motility, including a manometry probe inserted inside the colon lumen, custom strain sensors placed on the exterior of the colon wall, EMG electrodes placed inside the colon wall, and dopamine sensors for detecting neurotransmitter changes which may be associated with colon motility. Stimulation was provided by the OpenNerve Gen1 pulse generator, an open source system for neural recording and stimulation.
